Winter Break....

The Julie Burgess has made her last sailing for this season. A BIG THANK YOU to our great crew and band of volunteers who have done a great job in our first season of commercial operations.

She is now being laid up for the next two months for routine maintenance and some modifications. Tasks include the cleaning of the sails, cleaning and re-coating the deck, fitting a heat exchanger, fitting protection against lightning strike and extra lights.

During this time however, she will still be available for events while moored at her pontoon and also open for inspection on Saturdays from 1.30pm - 3.30pm for a gold coin donation. Our volunteers are happy to tell you the story and give you the tour!
